My sister and I went to this restaurant yesterday for lunch and I had to say that the staff were very friendly and nice. I thought that the pasta was kind of greasy but it was very fulling and the bread that was given as appetizer was very good. Overall, it was an okay experience, the food wasn’t phenomenal but it wasn’t disgusting either. If anything, you should probably try it to see if you like it, but I don’t see myself going back there again any time soon.
Not the worst pseudo-Italian food I’ve had, but the loud atmosphere and the combination of slow arriving dishes being delivered by a frantic wait staff was enough to put a significant damper on the experience. My girlfriend ordered Minestrone soup which was curiously devoid of pasta and laced with what seemed to be nutmeg and a melange of veggies which IMHO seemed to be odd choices. My chicken dish was ok in terms of flavor but the side of pasta was considerably cooler than the protein. The salmon she ordered was cooked through, which is less than desirable, but was good tasting. The spinach side was scant. I wouldn’t call it a disaster, but for what we spent ($51 on two entrees and a half price happy hour beer) we should have steered toward a mom and pop joint.
