  Horrible service. Worst restaurant experience ever. Made a reservation for 8 pm. We arrived early around 7 pm asked if there was any chance to be seated early, which the hostess had said there was not, but to return for our reservation at 8. When returned at 8 for our reservation she said there were a lot of people ahead of us, and she has no idea when we would be seated. I’m sorry but what is the point of a reservation when you are not guaranteed a table. Hostess was rude, unhelpful, and has no idea to do her job.

  Nothing to RAYVE about. First time visit.Food Quality: Good – not greatFood & Beverage pricing: HighService: Felt rushed and attitudes were a plenty. Unfriendly. Remember (wait staff) you’re there for us, not the other way around.Atmosphere: Best thing about the experience.Bathrooms: Did not have a call to use, so I cannot tell you about the cleanliness.FYI – First Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to in my lifetime where I didn’t have a doggy bag going home with me. Not because the food was that good, but because there wasn’t a good size portion to do so. And it wasn’t cheap.BOTTOM LINE: Would not go back or recommend. There are plenty of Italian restaurants in the Capital District that have better food, pricing and friendlier service. ie: Augies – Balston Spa, NY, Ferrari’s – Schenectady, NY.ONE STAR – solely for the atmosphere

  Best overall. When we are traveling anywhere in the Albany area we make it a point to have a reservation here. Excellent service, food etc . We have never had a bad meal. I wish there was one in our hometown.

  I could have made this food at home better. Sent back under cooked filet three times and they brought it back on the same plate everytime with the sauce crusted on the plate! Will never be back.

  Disappointed. Had dinner reservations for 8 pm in celebration of daughter’s 18th Birthday. Understanding that 8 pm does not necessarily mean that you will be seated exactly at that time, when 50 minutes had passed we decided to leave. After twenty minutes of standing and waiting, we asked if they could give us an idea when we would be seated. As we expected, we were told that we would be seated soon. Another twenty minutes passed and we again asked for an update, we were unable to get an answer. The Hostess reappeared and we were offered a cocktail from the manager. We thanked her, but explained we really just wanted to be seated. I spoke with the manager, who was bartending. He apologized and explained that people were done with meals, but that they continued to stay at the tables. We have enjoyed many meals at D’raymonds in the past and were very disappointed with this visit, especially as it was to celebrate an important Birthday. I understand that people enjoy conversing after dinner, but it would be considerate and appropriate when making reservations if restaurants offered for example a 5-7, 7-9 etc. seating. I know I would not be offended, if at the end of two hours the waiter thanked us and politely explained that there was another seating that had arrived. I was told that this is done, but people do not listen. I doubt it…..or are people really that rude? Anyway, highly doubt we will return there, although we have really enjoyed the food at D’raymonds in the past, this last visit left a bad taste in our mouths.
