Interesting Grill Menu, nice market.. We needed some spices to make a mulligatawny soup and were in the vicinity of Latham. I had stopped into Duniya once before when they first opened to simply look around. It is a good sized store with many fresh vegetables that I didn’t recognize, and some that I did. There are also plenty of imported canned and prepared products and spices. There is an area in back where I saw chickens being butchered, and they even have some tables and a counter in the back where items are cooked to order. I didn’t have a chance to look for a menu but it can be found online with Indian and Pakistani dishes.Overall, the place is very clean and orderly with many items for Middle Eastern and Asian cooking. My wife found the spices, vegetables and fresh ginger she needed and exclaimed at how reasonable the prices were. The only surprise was that there was no aroma of all the spices you typically smell when entering one of these ethnic markets. I could argue either way that this was a good thing or a disappointment. You might want to check this place out. We’ll be returning.Note: The grocery store is open Everyday. The Grill is closed on Monday.
