We went the night before Thanksgiving and the place was completely empty which made us contemplate not staying, but we were greeted warmly and we decided to stick it out. I’m glad we did – the biryani special was spicy and excellent. The chicken dishes we ordered were also very good along with very good Indian bread. The prices were very reasonable too.

STAY AWAY!!. Considering we have traveled to Nepal and have actually had the opportunity to eat real Nepali food. This place is a far cry from that and anything delicious or anything with any flavor for that matter. I would suggest staying away from this place, not only will you save your money but you can get a better meal at Mc Donalds. We ordered quite a few things so it’s just not one dish that sucked but many, the naan was chewy and too thick. I thought my car tire had more flavor and freshness. When you open a fresh basket of naan it should have a great smell that not only excites you about the meal, but it should open your senses to the meal you about to eat, All this naan did was end up in the trash, it was even inedible for my dog, even he deserves better. Palak Paneer it was like grass clippings with no spices, the paneer was flavor less and had a funny smell. It was just GROSS..Tamarind Chutney was bitter and disgusting, we also tried the samosas, they were basically unseasoned and were not made by anyone with any culinary experience in indian food.Shrimp Tikkamasala has almost a spaghetti flavor to it and was very oily and was covered with severely over cooked and rubbery shrimp. The kheer should of had a wonderful smell to it, but again due to the lack of proper preparation it was bland and flavorless. It was a disappointing end to a crappy dinner. It’s always a bad sign when you walk into a restaurant at dinner time and you are the only one there. That should of been my warning to stay away..

By far my favorite Indian cuisine in the capital region. Meals are well priced, portions are healthy, taste is excellent and service is always good. The Tandoori Chicken is awesome, the portions of Kheer are huge and the Chai is delicious. I haven’t tried everything in the menu just yet, but from the 10-15 items I have tried I am yet to be disappointed.
