There is a restaurant called candlelight inn in upstate new york. My friends and I go primarily for their chicken wings. The place is so popular that at any time of the day you can expect to see a lot of people inside. The staff is very polite and the wings are incredible. The price can be a bit steep and the fact that they do not take debit or credit cards is inconvenient, but the taste of the wings makes it well worth it. There are televisions in every direction which let you watch any major sporting event as well. Their waffle fries are also incredible. Parking can be difficult at busy times and the wait can easily exceed an hour at times when it is busy such as a friday night.

Very small place with a wait always worth the time. I’ve anywhere between 5-45 minutes to be seated but once you’re there the food comes quickly. Burgers and fries are incredible. Tacos and chili are to die for. Wings are superb. Prices are more than fair for any budget. I live a bit out from here but make the trek monthly because I am addicted. Service is astounding and everyone is so nice. If I was on death row this would be my meal of choice.

  • Chet, Where's Dinner?

Best wings around, hands down. Small place, usually accompanied by long waits (no reservations, sign-in waitlist) but worth it- grab a drink at the bar to pass time. They recently began adding popular craft brews to their taps for those into drinking something a little different than the usual. The addition of the separate takeout section is a huge plus, both for those who want to grab wings and run, and for those who are dining in who don’t want to be trampled on by the take out guests. In addition to their wings, the broccoli and jalapeo poppers are phenomenal. Anything fried here is in a class of its own. More than reasonably priced, make it a point to stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

The place is so tiny! The food is so large!! The food is absolutely amazing though. I got the balboa. OMG! chicken and cheese on garlic bread. Amazing.

Amazing food for people who love spice, their sauces are amazing. Good can get messy but let’s be honest, if you aren’t getting messy it must not be good
