New Years Eve Dinner. My parents often enjoy having lunch at New Central Seafood in Hartsdale. I will often join them when I am visiting from Florida. The food has always been good. The problem is the service. Five of us arrived around 5:30 for an early News Years Dinner. Within a half an hour we were served our soup, appetizers, dim sum and entree. They never asked us if we wanted a drink. There were still plenty of empty tables so there was no reason to rush us out the door. The table next to us sent back there entree. They were not ready for it, They were still having their soup! We should have too. We felt totally rushed. My mother was pissed. We were out the door in 45 minutes.Visited December 2014
Went there twice for dim sum. It was terrible compared to Aberdeen. The Sui Mai had obviously been frozen and then poorly warmed up. The taro puffs were gummy and tasteless. The beef in rice noodle was bearable. The baby bok choy was greasy and tough.
Never been let down by this place. Lots of Chinese families come here so you know it’s good
If Aberdeen was not open…. I would go to Central Seafood…
