Sakura Garden is a delivery favorite of ours – excellent fresh rolls and we think the Citrus Patty appetizer is phenomenal. We enjoy going there too – nice people and mellow atmosphere. Our only suggestion for improvement is that the decor could use a refresh – it’s a little tired.
Check your receipt before swiping. I was just there this past Saturday and ordered a small dinner for two which came to $42.95. When I swiped my card, the cashier had mixed my order with someone else’s and i was charge $159! Even though she claimed that she fixed it and i would not get charged, I did because when you use a debit card, it charges whatever amount is listed. I am still waiting to have this fixed. Even more irritating was the fact that she knew she messed up and then tried to give me free green tea while i waited with a disgustingly sweet smile. To make matters worse, the $42 dinner was probably worth $25. Never going there again.
The best sushi EVER!. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant. Like another reviewer stated, the fish is always fresh, but also high quality. Sometimes, I find it too beautiful to eat, but eat it I do! I have tried many of the items offered on the menu. Try the Rocky Shrimp and Tuna Martini for starters….then just pick one – any one of the rolls and enjoy. I highly recommend this place.

A Gift for Hartsdale. Sakura Garden is a newly opened Japanese delight in downtown Hartsdale. Located conveniently near the train station and library. Beautifully renovated and accompanied by a menu that has everything for the sushi aficionado, this family run establishment will satisfy. Sushi appetizers and special rolls are feasts for both the eyes and the palate. You must eat first with your eyes, then with your mouth. Sushi known as ‘edible art’ is surpassed by the sushi chef in both freshness and creativity. Over a dozen hibachi dinner selections from the kitchen are also available.P.S. Bathrooms are spotless, the fish used is brought in fresh each day, and reservations suggested.
