Reminds me of the Godfather. Food was a little pricey but good. I had a shrimp cocktail for $11.50. 4 shrimp, 5 would have been appropriate. Salads small but tasty with what appeared to be homemade dressings. I got the veal guisseppe, small but the sauce was excellent. Friends got the carbonara, chicken Marsala , chicken parm and another chicken dish wish orange and raisins. All very good. Desserts on but all desserts should be homemade.
Finest food in town. I heard it was very good food and I must say it was excellent. Bruschetta & antipasto were outstanding. Good wine too.
Steak Perfection. I have been ruined. I cannot order steak anywhere else! Nothing measures up to the talent in the kitchen here! Phenom!
Had dinner Sat night excellent meal and atmospher
Another class of italian food. My husband had brought me there for our anniversary. Expect to be there for at least 2 hrs for dinner. They don’t try to rush you in and out. You are actually encouraged to sit and enjoy your meal. The bruschetta is out of this world. The plates could actually feed two, so expect to bring home a doggy bag. There was an older gentleman from Italy visiting ( the owners grandfather?), when he heard it was our anniversary he played the accordion and sang a romantic italian song. I will never forget that night.
Lo Porto. OOO!! This place was awsome. We were visiting RPI and were suprized when we walked downtown and found , like , no places to eat. We loved the ambiance and the martinis were superb. The home made gravey and the gnoccis were to die for. Everything was great and I will be going back there this month. This time I will take pictures of the food!!
The best Italian in the area!. I love Lo Porto! The Shrimp Michael is my favorite, but they have so many other wonderful meals too! The service is excellent, very personable and down to earth. The table for two by the door is nice and secluded or the table for two overlooking the restaurant is another great spot to people watch. It’s a smaller restaurant, but never feels crowded. I would eat here every week if I could!
