This place is absolutely the best. Every dish and desert is to perfection. The stall and owner/chef are the nicest people/ very attentive. It has rapidly become our favorite place to dine!
Pretty darn good. Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, really good food, the chef is also the owner, very nice guy, visits the tables, friendly, makes you feel like your having dinner with his family, love that. We give this place 4 stars, would have given 5 if we were able to order a couple different cocktails that they did not have the ingredients for? And our server kind of dropped the ball at the end of our meal, by not showing up for 15 minutes after we were done?Its the little things that pack the biggest punch. Other then that 4 is a great rating as we are foodies and we will go back again.
We watched this gem come to life as the new owners renovated it. We were so impressed with our first visit- the food, the service, the owner making a personal appearance at every table to check on things- it quickly became a favorite place! I’ve had the calves liver, the venison, the salmon, and one or two of the specials. I am always wowed. The salad is unique- includes fennel and a wonderful lemony dressing and as others have mentioned, the homemade bread is worth the trip alone! The wine list is amazing- . we were so impressed we brought our wedding party there last weekend and everyone is still raving about it. Bravo! We are happy to have this place right down the road- but it is worth the drive from anywhere in the Hudson Valley!
Dinner. Had a delightful dinner on December 26. There was more than enough to eat on the dinner entries! The staff was excellent and attentive. Neither rushed nor kept waiting, the service was perfect. The owner chatted with us also. He was very cordial and polite. Would definitely return!!
An Unsung Jem. Our whole experience was very good. Varied selection of wines. The antipaste was ample and the parmesean and meats were very good. We were a party of 4 and everyone had an delicious experience. We had the liver, wild boar pasta, chicken al limone and lasagna entrees. I would recommend for Italian food in the area.
