What a place. What an atmosphere. I went there because of the menu. I am trying to eat more vegan type meals and they had some good looking options. I had the vegan meatball sandwich with a side salad. The meatballs were great. The bread was great. It definitely needed more of the sauce. It was dry, but tasty and filling nonetheless. The salad was spot on with the perfect dressing. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich with fries, it looked great and she had no complaints. A huge bonus was the Ommegang rare Vos on tap for only 6 bucks, thats a $2 discount from every other place Ive had it. Yikes, hope the owner isnt reading. Then there is the ambiance, the eclectically wild surroundings. I can not wait to go back!! Next time for dinner.
Wonderful Place. I am in love with the atmosphere at the Egg’s Nest. Located in a cozy town, art fills the walls and the restaurant is beautiful. Of course the menu matches its atmosphere and ambiance. Food is fresh and delicious. Favorite food would have to be the Thanksgiving sandwich!
The Egg’s Nest offers a delicious well planned menu using fresh ingredients, friendly to both carnivores as well as vegetarians. The atmosphere is funky but cozy. Make sure to bring cash as they do not accept credit cards, although they do have an ATM on premises.
A special place. Want to impress someone? The Egg’s Nest is one of several eateries in High Falls, but behind it’s garish exterior beats the heart of a foodies delight. Ecclectic and yet down to earth. You can find a mixture of customers from the Hippies and Yuppies to us Biker types sharing the same space and loving the victuals. Try it and you’ll surely be back.
This eclectic restaurant won’t let you down and if you are in the area you may consider stopping by for tasty hamburger, or even something more healthy. They’ve got a great menu and a decor that you will not forget.
Friendly/eclectic atmosphere, fresh food, just make sure you have some cash or your ATM card.
