Great Restaurant in the Neighborhood!. We are very pleased so have such a consistently good restaurant right in our neighborhood. Although the prices went up a wee bit, they are still very reasonable and the food was even better than before. We love the lentil soup, kebabs, bronzini, chicken and lamb dishes. The traditional Turkish dishes are wonderful. To our surprise, when we were brought a plate of the liver cubes on the house, we LOVED them. (Who eats liver?) Yum! Make a reservation, because we have seen people turned away.19 Aug, 2013Neighborhood Gem. We feel lucky to have a nice, reasonably-priced restaurant close to our home. The ambiance is good, service is fine and the food never leaves us wanting. We have tried new dishes each time and have yet to be disappointed. Their lentil soup is tops. And, while I’m a little unsure of the name, I believe we tried the Lahmacun (Anatolian version of an ancient Turkish meat pie) and found it to be a sensory delight.

Lovelovelove!. It’s been 5 years since I moved from NY, and I still miss this place. We’d order take out every week. The food is incredible!!!! I personally found the tiny dining room claustrophobic but fine, that’s what takeout is for. This place sets the standard for Turkish food!

Turkish food. The food here is outstanding! I would have to agree that this is THE best Turkish restaurant in the metropolitan area. The food is authentic and delicious. If coming for dinner, reservations are a must. It is not a fancy place and although the staff may sometimes be less than friendly, that does not prevent us form coming here once a week. It is a gem of a place. If I had to recommend something, any one of the pides or whole fish dishes. I am sure that you would not be disappointed.

This is the best Turkish restaurant in Long Island/Brooklyn and Quens. If you didnt try you should definitely try it, you won’t regret it.

Turkish cuisine. There are kebab houses and then there is This Turkish Kebab House. This is truly a fabulous place to go priced reasonably and the food is outstanding. My three favorite dishes are the Mixed Appetizer with the puff bread, (must ask for it it’s wonderful) Kiymali Pide #36 and Izgara Kofte #26. They are awesome. You have to try this Kebab House.

Nice Hole in the wall. Small restaurant but has very good food when it is not filled up. Do take outs from here quite often. Love their kebabs and the rice pudding!
