Best Easter Dinner we ever had, we had ten people for dinner at Alex’s Bar and Grill and was so happy with our choice to eat here. The menu was outstanding, the service was wonderful and the food was fantastic. The day was wonderful from start to finish. This is a must try restuarant everything is fabulous . Great Italian Cuisine. We went there for lunch and were pleasantly surprised – we were not expecting Italian cuisine. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We love going there for dinner and bringing our friends.
This was previously Milonga’s, an Italian Argetinian restaurant. With that high bar to follow, I was really disappointed with Alex’s Bar & grille. The baked clams were fishy smelling, fresh seafood is a must. Homemade lobster ravioli was just ok, Agostinos in New Rochelle really hits the mark. They made their own Cesar salad dressing, that was a plus. The service was very good too. Overall, I think the kitchen needs to be upgrade. It’s too bad, because this is a nicely renovated space and there is a good crowd looking for places like this to go.
All around really good. Went with the girls and the service, food and ambiane were perfect. You know how a bunch of girls are, include this, skip that, share this and they accommodated all that we asked with a smile. The food was enjoyed by all. We all said we would definately go again.
Enjoyed the experience!. First time Saturday night with friends and this is not just a bar & grille- but a great place to have excellent food! Nice atmosphere and tables are spaced providing comfortable seating. Although every table was full, the restaurant never got loud and we were able to enjoy our company. The waiters were pleasant and professional knowing exactly when to come to our table. I ordered the Alex’s Chopped Salad which is like no other chopped salad! I really enjoy my seafood linguini which had just the right amount of oil and seasoning. The sauces were not heavy and allowed you to really taste the flavor of the dish. My husband who travels all over is still talking about the veal chop! I was also very pleased with the presentation of every dish and how it was served. Would I go back to this restaurant? Absolutely! The prices were reasonable and I am looking forward to trying some of their other dishes! Thank you Alex for a great Saturday night!
