Disappointing and disorganized. This place was a terrible DISAPPOINTMENT. I made a reservation about 10 days in advance to celebrate my anniversary and was really looking forward to trying a new restaurant especially because I just had a baby in August and rarely get to go out with my husband these days. The hostess walked us upstairs and showed us to the worst table. I asked for a different table and was told they were fully booked but we could wait for a booth to open in about a half hour… almost an hour later we inquired about the table and were told it was ready, we walked up the stairs again only to be shown to the SAME table that I had already rejected (the fact that the same crummy table was still available an hour later confirms that its the worst seat in the house). I lost my patience then and we left. The restaurant was good enough to pick up the tab for our drinks but it wasn’t enough of an apology for ruining a special night. The worst part of it is that my husband proposed to me at 42 and now the whole experience of going back to the penthouse at The Ritz is rather soured. Shame on you Bellota.
