Check the prices. This was our first trip to a Morton’s. The Cajun ribeye, the broiled salmon and the steamed asparagus were delicious. A warning is in order. Stop outside the door and read through the menu. Don’t wit until you are seated to be surprised. We probably should have left, but we had been travelling all day and were just tired.Very good food – obscene prices.

$$ but excellent. Way to pricey, but really good
Very pricey. Overall Morton’s is good. I’ve been here many times but this visit was an off night. It’s a chain and they are all similar with their signature presentation of the menu when they bring over the raw meat and live lobster for you to get a first hand look at your potential meal. It has a clubby feel with Sinatra syle music. I ordered a varitaion of a lemon drop martini and it was done very nice in a nice size martini glass, it was lightly dusted with sugar around the rim of the glass. So I ordered a second one, the 2nd one came out 3/4 full and the sugar was globbed on the glass and noticably less alcohol. I don’t mind paying $12.50 for a nicely done cocktail but not for sugar water. I started with the lobster bisque, somehow it was off. It tasted watered down and the one piece of lobster they thew in there tasted almost burnt. Definitely not worth the $15.00 they charged for it. DH got the beefsteak tomatoe salad and he said that was very good. Most of the steaks are in the $50.00 range, no sides are included, sides are extra. I got the Chicago Ribeye for $51.00, it was good but not worth $51.00. I ordered it medium rare (so did my DH) and they both came out raw, had to be sent back. DH got the strip steak and he said it was dry, he was not impressed. He tasted my steak and said mine was much better. We didn’t stay for dessert although they did look tempting. side note….Morton’s does not validate parking, which I think is pretty cheap considering the prices they charge. Whole Foods which is next door does validate when you shop in there, I don’t understand why Morton’s doesn’t.website with menu……. http://www.mortons.com/menu.php
Best ribeye I’ve ever had.
I have never enjoyed a cajan rib eye like I did at this restaurant. The service was great and I really loved the chocolate desert.
