Excellent lunch! Great gluten-free menu!. We’ve been going to Sam’s for years because the food and service are consistently excellent! Now, we especially now choose Sam’s because of their gluten-free menu which mirrors the regular menu in variety and quality. Ron, our server as well as the manager, Karen were both attentive to my teenage son’s dietary needs and the kitchen served up an excellent tapas appetizer (with extra platino chips, thank you!) and a delicious turkey burger with mushrooms and cheese served on a tasty gluten free bun (which is hard to find!). I highly recommend Sam’s!
Great for Rehearsal Dinner. We just held my daughter’s large rehearsal dinner in the downstairs room here. If they sent me a survey, I would be checking EXCELLENT in all categories: planning, service from David Pellon, who was especially patient in putting together the menu and proposal and followed through and up very quickly, Olga, Cameron? and all of their bar and table staffers were attentive and smiling the entire time.Our guests commented on how good the food was…and I also noticed how beautifully lit and displayed it was. We especially loved the seafood cup pass arounds, the grilled veggies and the shrimp with couscous. When the shrimp nearly ran out, a full platter was quickly provided. I appreciated Olga’s patience and help in setting up the centerpieces and the outside displays. My instructions for the tables were followed exactly. The room is lovely, bathrooms clean and parking is ample and easy. There’s a microphone and podium. They had it all except for a large video monitor for our slideshow.
Special Dinner. Our family group of 13 recently had a luncheon at Sam’s and everything about it was exceptional. The menu selections of antipasto platters, pecan crusted chicken,roasted veggies, pasta, and banana bread pudding were fabulous. In addition to the high quality of the food, our server, Ron, was outstanding. The pace of the meal was perfect which is difficult for a large group. Ron was professional, cheerful, and accommodating. He even anticipated our needs before we realized them. All in all, our dining experience at Sam’s was terrific.
This restaurant does not care about its customers whatsoever. Salads are tasteless, soups are a salute to salt and main dishes are prepared by cooks, not chefs.
Overall, I didn’t like it. I would not visit them again. Appetizers were ok, entrees were not good. Overpriced. Risotto was not made the risotto way. Nasty boiled rice.
Never returning here again .. Service – horrible , took forever to take my order . treated me and my wife as if we werent there . waiter was rude and rushed me and my wife . when the food came out it was undercooked . the staff at this place seemed to just be lolly doodleing around all the time .and when they werent they were standing over us like it was a buffet .very bad experience, my wife went to speak with the manager and she told me he was very creepy and seemed as if he was flirting with her . we will never come back to this disgusting place .
Very, very good. I haven’t eaten at Sam’s very often but each time I do I want to go back again. The food is exceptional and so is the service. I also love the layout of the restaurant and the bar – love those brass rails. I recommend it highly.
