Carlo’s is a gem of an Italian restaurant in Yonkers, with a lot of personality. The food is quite reasonably priced & the staff is quite friendly too. We tried various items on the menu, 1 pasta, 1 grilled chicken dish & 1 dessert. All of them were great & the servings were quite large. I don’t think you can really go wrong with anything here, and if you’re not sure of anything the waitstaff would me willing to guide you.

An old school Italian spot in the heart of Yonkers. On a Saturday night there can be a long wait and the restaurant set up provides for little standing room in the meantime. There is really no bar to sit at either. With that being said do not be discouraged because I firmly believe Carlo’s serves the best Italian food around (possibly anywhere except maybe in Italy itself.) You really can’t go wrong with any dish. Portion sizes are huge. Hands down my favorite dish is the Chicken Parmigiana. DO NOT MISS THIS. It is the best I have ever had anywhere. The Eggplant Parmigiana and pretty much anything parmigiana is great. Their flavorful and rich authentic red sauce definitely has something to do with this. I’m almost hesitant to even order it when I go anywhere else because I know it won’t be as good. Some of my other favorites would be the Rigatoni Vodka, Chicken Marsala, Berry & Goat Cheese Salad, Gnocchi Bolognese, and Pappardelle Arrabbiata. But again, everything is a hit. The lower level is a relatively new addition pizzeria also providing the full restaurant menu for take-out and delivery. You can even place your order online through their site (for an additional $1 fee.) There are two dining rooms upstairs with the third floor typically reserved for larger groups. Get there as soon as possible and ask for Stephanie or Patty!!!

Phenomenal food with a varied menu. Not very expensive. One of the best Italian restaurants.
Wonderful, home made Italian food.. This is the place for the best red sauce, pasta & meat balls, pizza, shell steak, sauted broccolli, Italian seafood dishes, and much more. Not a fancy atmosphere, just incredible food and huge portions. But please don’t come- you’ll make us wait in line too long.
