Gianna’s was an excellent lunch and dinner location. The staff was friendly and the food was pretty good. Fairly large portions. If you are staying near Gianna’s you should try them out.

Great traditional Italian favorites and awesome pizzas. The Gianna pizza with anchovies and garlic is my family’s favorite if you’re looking for something other than a traditional cheese or a margherita. Their lobster ravioli is incredible, and their Chicken Scarpariello is one of the best around. Fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned for great dishes. Have been here many times for dinner and for several events and I have never had a bad experience. I’ve taken out food many times as well (they make killer heroes). Nice ambiance, gets crowded quickly, but a really nice place for a family dinner or date night if you’re in the mood for a quality meal.

As one enters the restaurant let the atmosphere be your first warning that your choice was a mistake! Should you chose to stay don’t expect fresh pasta. Next time a better choice would be at home with a microwaved stouffers frozen entree ( perhaps the fettacini and splurge on a nice bottle of wine)! I ordered the saw dust stuffed ravioli smothered in a red Purina dog food gravy ! Actually dog food may have more appeal ! A steak knife or chainsaw was required to cut through the dense pasta ! Dessert dry stuffing dense pasta is a recipe for gastroenteritis and a trip across the street to St. John’s riverside hospital !!
