Great BBQ. First ran into this Food Truck at the Rural Hill Food Truck Rally but by the time I found him, I had already eaten too much and did not get a chance to try his fare that evening.I was in Downtown Charlotte earlier this week and went by the 7th Street Market and he was there. The only think I can say is I wish I had saved some room when he was at Rural Hill. His pulled pork is perfectly smoked with a mild smoky flavor and is nice and moist. From what I am told, the wood he uses is typically apple which is my favorite because of the aromatic character it gives the meat a richness and depth you don’t get with hickory or western mesquite. Not normally a fan of slaw but the slaw that came with it was quite good with a nice tang to it.It terms of the truck, it is not decaled or painted as nice as some I’ve seen but then agian, this is not NASCAR. It serves it’s purpose and it serves it well.If you like a good Que, this is a good one to try.
