Sloppy TO-GO Orders. I went in for lunch and ordered a turkey sandwich, just meat and cucumbers. The lady at the counter told me I could only get it on a white sub roll, although I could clearly see the different variations of bread they had. It took 20 minutes to get my order. They charged me for a small side of ranch to dip my sandwich in, but did not actually give me one. The sadwich was automatically toasted for some reason, even though she did not ask me my preference, and needles to say sloppy and soggy from the warm turkey and cucumbers. The bread was doughy, tasted uncooked. The small soup I had with it was very oily. I got the sandwich and soup combo and a piece of cake and eded up at $13.85-way overpriced. The cake was a normal small slice, which they sell for $4. Very dry. I would never go back there. I have eated in NY delis for better and cheaper than this.
Delicous. We enjoyed our meal very much! I had a shrimp Po’ Boy sandwich with 10 large shrimp, friend had a grilled chicken sandwich also very tasty. Wish I’d taken photos, really good food for a reasonable price. Will return when in Uptown again.
First time on Friday ~ went back on Monday!. A buddy suggested lunch last Friday so we went to try Newk’s. I had the Newk’s favorite salad…it’s now my favorite salad too! I had to go back on Monday for another one! Great choice…I’ll be back again. Maybe next time I’ll try something else…everything looks great!
We had an amazing experience here! The steak sandwich, broccoli cheddar soup, and nuke’s favorite salad were all exceptional. Be sure to stop by this great place, especially for lunch!
I tried the :q: chicken sandwich at the taste of Charlotte uptown,and was completely blown away,worth the price to pay for parking just to get hands on this sandwich. Can’t wait to visit to have a sit down lunch.

Always good. I really like this restaurant when I go casual and am just walking around downtown. The food is always really good and the price is good as well. The pizzas are never a disappointment. I can’t wait until they build one near Lake Norman. The Elizabeth community would be good too.
