Horrible service!!! We went to RiRa’s for brunch around noon on a Sunday, there was a 10 minute wait for a table so we decided to sit at the bar which was empty. It took twenty minutes for us to get our coffee, the couple who sat down next to us ten minutes later got their food first at which point the bartender asked us what we had ordered again. It was clear she had forgotten to put our order in. She came back and said there was a ‘mix up in the kitchen’ but our food would be out in five minutes and she’d take 40% off our bill. She then offered us shots (at noon on a Sunday??) and proceeded to tell us how she regretted going out last night because she was still out of it. Another fifteen minutes passed and we still had not gotten our food or seen our server again -at this point it had been 50 minutes since we ordered so we just left. Needless to say we will never be going back.28 Apr, 2013We went to RiRa’s for brunch around noon on a Sunday, there was a 10 minute wait for a table so we decided to sit at the bar which was empty. Can’t get much better. It’s as close as you’ll find to an authentic Irish pub in North Carolina, and maybe anywhere in the South. Food, drinks, service — all of them are great. I’ve sampled at least half of the items on the menu over the last several years, and I can’t think of a single one that I didn’t care for. The drinks are made strong, the beer is poured well, and the staff are as pleasant and prudent as possible. And there’s often good entertainment to boot (I wish more of that entertainment were of the traditional Irish variety, mind you). The pub has long been my uptown oasis, and it never disappoints.

Great Food. Went to Ri Ra’s for the first time the other night before a performance at the Belk Theater. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was awesome! I had the Kilcooly and couldn’t believe the flavor. The turkey was moist and juicy and the cranberry mayonnaise was to die for! I will so be going back as soon as I can for more!

Nice atmosphere and easily accommodated our group of 11 for lunch. I had the fish & chips and thought I ordered the regular size but this piece of fish was huge. Maybe the large order has 2 pieces?? Fish wasn’t bad, they could scale back the breading because there was way too much. Our entire crew liked their menu options.

Great Food!. Best wings I’ve had since I moved to NC from NY! So hard to find good wings around here! Really great food, you have to try the steak pie! Yummm! Also great drinks and fun atmosphere. Only problem is on the weekends it becomes like a club almost- not a cozy irish pub. I like it for lunch but I prefer the the hang out in a more relaxed pub even on weekend nights.
