All you can eat meat?? Why not! Every meat we had was fantastic! Even took the kids and they enjoyed it as well! I’ve been to Brazz and Chima and even though I liked both, I would pick Brazz. The meat just seemed more fresh and their sides were better….if that matters!
The reason for going is the meat!. Atmosphere= So so. No pictures anywhere, cheap flooring, shared bathroom with other businesses.Salad bar= Ok, not bad not great but ok. Tomato soup wad good. Lettuce wedge not so much.Meat= Delicious! There wasn’t a meat that I didn’t like and they have 10. Service= So so. Took a long time for drinks multiple times. Certain meats weren’t brought out as much or as often as others.Price= They charged us extra because it was valentine’s day and we didn’t know until we got the bill. It was $130 for 2 peopl. We both had the Rodizio and 2 glasses of wine each.Bottom line= Really good food but for the money your better off going to Chima. Chima has food which is very similar and in some cases better. The salad bar and atmosphere are heads and tails better. Service is more attentive and price is comparable.
Awesome food, service and atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants. Never disappoints.
Dissappointed. Not impressed with this place @ all…food selection very limited if u do not eat red meat..salad bar was ok nothing 2 write home about..my husband enjoyed the food (but he was hungry)…I only tried this place because of a groupon deal…our waiter was not very friendly, talked way 2 fast & if I asked questions he would have a sarcastic answer (not good)! We will not be going back , that’s 4 sure…BTW way 2 expensive..not worth it!!!!
Not on the same level as Chima. I have to admit…Chima is one of my favorite places to eat in Charlotte. As much as I wanted to love this place, Brazz just doesn’t compare. Brazz is located in a small location near Fuel Pizza on The Green in Uptown. (I think a Mexican restaurant used to be there – was it called Jolene’s?)Let’s start with the good:1) Service is extremely good, and you never want for anything. 2) They will ask you at what temperature you prefer your meat, and do their best to accommodate your wishes.3) They offer fried alligator – it’s slightly chewy and has an interesting flavor.4) They have these delicious bacon-wrapped scallops as their seafood option.5) They are cheaper than Chima. However, and I say this sadly, there are a few things that just don’t compare to Chima:1) The atmosphere isn’t as nice — or as upscale– as Chima.2) While they do cook the meat the way you like it, I didn’t think the meat was as flavorful. 3) Where are the chewy cheese rolls that I’ve come to expect at every churrascaria I’ve visited?I recommend you give them a try to form your own opinion, but I think I’ll stick to Chima when I’m in the mood for a meat-fest.
Overpriced !. My wife and I dined and your restaurant this past Sunday, July 1st after purchasing a Groupon voucher. After the experience, I will have to be honest, I wasn’t that impressed. My wife is not a red meat eater and the options of for chicken and fish varieties were disappointing at best. The price was ABSOLUTELY A rip-off. $25 for a salad bar buffet. One of the owners did allow my wife to try some of the chicken & fish variety, but she enjoyed neither. If I come back, it will only be for a SUPER special pricing. I would NEVER pay regular price.
Where has my server gone?. Disappointment doesnt come close to my lunch experience at Brazz. The restaurant was not busy due to the Taste of Charlotte. I was greeted and seated promptly, but thats where the pleasantness ends.On three separate attempts I tried to get some carved turkey, but was left alone, abandoned by the staff. I procured 1 plate of roasted potatoes and vegetables from which I ate two bites. The vegetables were caked in salt and the potatoes tasted like they came from a World War Two surplus store.I would have complained to the waiter, except I did not see him. I asked for my check from the owner, who failed to notice that I did not touch my drink or plate. I was charged almost $15.00 for basically nothing. While I like the concept of the establishment, they just havent got their act together. Avoid the pain and go somewhere else.
