  The staff is quite pleasant and attentive. The menu selections are standard but provide a good variety to offer choice. Prices are reasonable. HOWEVER, they need to revamp their kitchen exhaust system. I was in there for less than 40 minutes and left smelling like hell. I had to leave my suit jacket off for the rest of the day. I’ve heard that complaint from others but I’ve only done take out before.

  I’m here on vacation and my daughter and her friends took me to this restaurant for dinner and the food,service and hibachi entertainment was awesome. The valet parking was a different story let’s just say don’t leave any valuables in the car.

  My boyfriend and I ate at this location for the first time Father’s Day weekend. Let me mention some of the major pros of this restaurant: valet parking! Enough said two the atmosphere is very upbeat. The ambiance is more for the in the know crowd! I wanted to go dancing after eating. The location is perfect adjacent from the nascar building and corners away from the museums. The food was good we ordered sushi as a staters I tried the shrimp tempura first time sushi eater…so it was tasty. On to the the main course I ordered the shrimp and chicken hibachi it was A LOT of food! The taste was good the noodles was too peppery but overall the shrimps was cooked to perfection! When it was time to get our car the car attendant was super fast and nice. The owner came out to talk to us and as we were talking we discovered she owned my favorite Japanese spot Fuji at Rivergate! How great! I digress. But the location is great food is good and while the valet parking is still free Everyone PLEASE CHECK this place out

  Real Japanese Sushi. First off, brush up on your Japanese because the Sushi Chefs speak very little English (which isn’t a bad thing in a Sushi restaurant!). All kidding aside, the sushi here was very fresh and the accompaniments were traditionally minimalist yet oh so delicious. Not a lot of sauces, just great quality ingredients.They have lunch specials: 2 rolls for $9 or 3 for $11.Me and my buddy said what the heck and got 3 rolls. This includes a soup or salad as well! I got Spicy Tuna, Boston and Philly Rolls. All were delicious, but the Spicy Tuna had a very delicious crunchy component to it, along with the minimal spicy sauce. I will definitely come back to try their Hibachi Grill food. I looked at their dinner menu and it looked awesome, and at a surprisingly reasonable price! So I say Red Ginger definitely gets TWO BIG Thumbs UP!

  Great Food. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Charlotte thanks to the staff at Red Ginger. The staff was attentive, and the presentation of the food was exceptional. They made the long hard days at PASS 2013 much more tolerable with the excellent Japanese food and service. Excellent black cod, sushi and sashimi. Highly recommended. I hope to return to Charlotte in the near future. Have a look at the picture – how could that not be delicious!!!

  Dined at Red Ginger while attending the Police Fleet Expo in Charlotte. Although our waiter was new and had to ask others about menu items, the service was good and the food was excellent. I recommend you try the sushi and sashimi platter. If I get the chance to return to Charlotte, I will definitely go back to Red Ginger.
