I am a repeat customer maybe 2 or three times a month. The last 3 times I have been were very disappointing to say the least. . First of all the food fad become very disgusting. It’s not hot when it comes out. I ordered the ribs and the wings on two separate occasion and it tasted like they warm the wings in a microwave and then just threw the sauce on it.. then they charged me and my friends two dollars for ice in our drinks. This company has become very laying in cooking the food now. . I would always get the pasta and since they stop selling it.. anything else is just not that great. I really hope some one is reading my comment.
The food is good. It just didn’t work for me because I like to see my food when I eat it and it is, of course, dark in a movie theater. It was great to be able to drink a beer while I watched a movie on the big screen though. My advice…stick with simple appetizer and beer. Save the meal for elsewhere.
Studio Movie Grill. The concept behind this establishment is nice. The staff could brush-up on manners. Most of them are imature and talk about their personal business (out loud) in front of guests, which is annoying/unprofessional – especially when you’re waiting for them to acknowledge you, and they still continue. Take the nonsense to the back staff, not the bar…REALLY. You look silly.

Dirty doesn’t begin to describe this place. Restroom trash piled high up the wall, sticky floors, weird smells, seats marked with either love stains or nacho cheese – couldn’t tell. Midway though the movie, I started getting bit by bugs. There’s no way on Earth I’d order food here. I haven’t used the word scuzzy in a while, but it fits. Just plain scuzzy.
Absolutely the WORST food in Charlotte. SMG good one of the best atmospheres and food expierences under the Mezz and Completely RUINED IT. I wish I could give this negative stars – your food is better if you buy the lowest quality frozen food and heat it up at your house
Great Experience. My sister was in Charlotte for the first time. She wanted to see a movie and we also needed to grab some dinner prior so I took her to the Studio Grill at the Epicenter. Upon arrival everyone from the ticket counter to the host was extremely nice and courteous. The seats were very nice and comfortable. It seemed there wasn’t a bad seat in the house.. I ordered a custom pizza.and it was DELICIOUS. The crust was yummy, not to thick or thin. My food was hot and I loved the button on my the tray to call over assistance. I have been to one other place similar in VA and they did not have this wonderful feature. Overall this was a great experience combining 3 of my favorite things, Food, Movies and great service. I will be back and telling others.
