Met with some students for a brunch recently. It was fine but nothing special. My shrimp and grits was good but not really amazing for the price. I also ordered a beer and they had no taps because no CO2. I got a bottle and it took quite a while to come out.
Visited Ink N Ivy with some co-workers for dinner. Immediately you’ll notice the unique decor and this place has a different but good vibe. Also seems to be very popular as we were told there would be an hour wait for a table of 5. Luckily it was only a 30 minute wait. I ordered the fried cheese and the fries oyster sandwich. Loved the fried cheese with the spicy dipping sauce but the sandwich wasn’t anything to boast about. I didn’t get a lot of oysters, it lacked sauce and there was way too much bread for the amount of oysters given. I did get to try a co-workers mac n cheese and shrimp & grits, that were really good. I definitely made the wrong choice. Great service and reasonably priced good food. I have been reading they have a good brunch that I’ll have to come back and try.
