Jays downtowner is a great local family owned and operated seafood restaurant. They are easily the best seafood in town. Try the fried shrimp-you won’t be sorry!! Expect no frills with this restaurant -just great quality food, friendly staff, and great prices. The folks that run this restaurant are the same that run jays seafood out on stony gap road. Both places are fantastic. FYI- they accept cash and checks only. The stony gap location has an ATM so it’s really not much of an inconvenience. They also cater, so check them out for your next family gathering, office party, or church event!
