Never less than stellar. Every visit is better than the last…truly, a restaurant that has got it done right. Fine servers who genuinely care, an educated bar staff and a kitchen staff that loves their work. You cannot go wrong here.
Crazy Good Food. This place is one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of sitting down in. Don’t be fooled by the outward appearance, this place caters to people that expect nothing but the absolute best dishes. A lot of unique dishes that you don’t see everyday and the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality delivered.
Gourmet in a small town. One of the inevitable downsides to living in a small town is the lack of choices where fine restaurants are concerned. Not true for the little town of Albemarle. Off The Square offers as finely prepared gourmet food as you will ever get in the most cultured big cities. This is truly food done right….and at prices far lower than you would expect for the level of quality.
Nice little place. Dinner by candlelight made for a wonderful romantic night. Service, food, and drinks were incredibly delicious. Im not the easiest person to impress. I will return soon.

A delightful suprise…found this place while searching for another. I was seated right away and my drink soon followed. I couldn’t decide between the fish and chips and the margarita pasta. My waitress said her personal favorite was the pasta, so I went with that. It took a few minutes for my food to arrive, which to me is a good sign that the food is fresh and made to order. I’ll say it now they did not fail to deliver! The food was very fresh and the flavors were very well balanced. Cudos to the chef! The serving size was just right for lunch. You can get away with $10-12 for lunch ,well worth yhe effort.
