We arrived at 1:30pm on Sunday afternoon. The church crowd was no longer there and occupancy appeared to be about 1/3 at best.My wife and I both ordered the ribeye medium. She asked for baked potato and I asked for sweet potato. I also ordered the potato skins. To make this short, the potato skins were burnt, my sweet potato was so cold, it would not melt soft butter. She did not receive a baked potato but a different potato product with cheese on top. Both steaks were barely medium rare.I used to run a steak house before I retired. I know how to prep, cook and serve a quality meal. This is not how it is done.The manager was polite and she listened at patiently as I explained.I only visit this area a couple times a year. This has been the third time at this restaurant with the same basic results.
Just doesn’t quite do it…. I must be honest, this restaurant just doesn’t quite do it for me. I’ve been here with friends and family about four times and each time it’s been a completely different experience. For the price, you’d expect a good quality meal and great service every time, but this is not always the case.The restaurant seems to need a makeover of some sort… seems a little old school in how it’s run as well. There’s too many other great places to get a good steak. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.
