Decided to give them another chance and try the lunch menu! I was very pleased with a large serving of baked chicken (white meat) and green beans and crowder peas on the Wednesday lunch menu. It was a good size serving and very tasty.
I love the slaw and chili that they put on the hot dogs.And the BLT sandwich is delicious The daily specials are always great food at a good deal!
Big D’s has a varied menu, including burgers, sandwiches, plate lunches, etc. The plate lunches provide large servings, and everything is well-seasoned and tasty. The burgers are delicious, and you should definitely try the homemade lasagna when it’s the special–cheesy and delicious!
Big D’s has something for everyone. If you’re in the mood for a juicy cheeseburger, or country-style steak, or fried catfish, and much more. The owner is really cool, too.
This is a family diner and is an excellent place to eat. Not fancy just good food. Service is great also. Their Friday night catfish meal is great!
Food is real good. And the staff is friendly if you are traveling hwy 64/90 in taylorsville NC stop in and eat
