Pollo loco is the star in this sky. La Hacienda is a chain, but it has consistently good food. Their salsa and chips follow you to your seat and drinks follow soon after. Service is always on-point. While it isn’t well-known, La Hacienda will do half-size orders of anything on their menu. If you want their amazing Pollo Loco for lunch, but don’t want to feel weighted down.. just order a half-size. They offer a pretty standard menu for an americanized-friendly mexican restaurant, but their offerings are always freshly made and pretty tasty. I haven’t tried their lunch buffet as I can normally track down something on the menu to suffice, but it looks to be a wide sampling of their items for a pretty good price.
