  I would like to warn all of you against a theft from this local restaurant. My girlfriend went to Medos Italian on North Fayetteville Street to carry out a pizza. The pizza was $12.82 and when she checked her bank statement the next day she found out that they charged $17.82. She called Medos and asked to speak to a manager and the man that answered the phone said that he was the manager. We found out the next day when we went to the restaurant that the man who answered was in fact not a manager at all and was the man who checked my girlfriend out at the time of pick up. When we told him what we were doing there he got extremely nervous and paced back and forth and produced a copy of the receipt that showed she had left a $5 tip. He went outside and made several phone calls while continuing to pace back and forth. My girlfriend told me thaat when she checked out she made a lind through the tip entry and totaled it at the bottom. I am guessing the $5 tip still was punched in by the guy and then pocketed. We asked the owner to come in from home to address this and the owner just didn’t give a crap about any of it. He offered lots of excuses and did give back the $5 only because we are getting extremely agitated with lots of customers around. He did not offer anything else beyond the $5 and just wanted us gone. If you shop there, please check your bank statements afterwards. I suggest you take your business other places as I will not do business or trust this establishment ever again. It’s only $5 but theft is theft and I hate a thief.
