How can anybody give this place a decent review? It’s below avg, at best. For example, I ordered Sweet&Sour Chicken on my 1st and only visit. Unlike good Chinese Restaurants that have green peppers and pineapple chunks incl with the chicken pieces with S&S sauce, all this place gives is Fried Chicken pieces and S&S sauce, that more than likely came right from a can. It was terribly sweet and very disappointing. I’d never give this place another order after that.
Great Chi-Amer Food for Cheap. I go easily once maybe two times a week. Staff are courteous, friendly, well spoken, and willing to spice up or omit ingredients (Vegs). Food is well seasoned, fresh (some of the seafood is not ‘fresh’ per say i.e. imitation crab,etc) but still very good as it is prepared, vegetables are prepared on site in kitchen and definitely not frozen/canned.The restaurant is very clean as is the kitchen. I would say it is the best take out style Chinese I’ve had in Asheville period! Try the Hunan anything!!
Love this place!. I have recently moved to the Leicester area and have been very happy to have found this Chinese restaurant. The food is always very fresh and never over cooked. I have lived in Asheville for 20 years and this is the best Chinese food that I have had here so far!
Fresh, hot, tasty Chinese food. Occasionally they skimp on the ingredients, e.g., fake crab meat, tasteless lobster, but the vegetables are always fresh and crisp. Efficient service from staff with mixed English language abilities although the young adults are usually taking orders and they speak English fluently.

Best Chinese Food In Asheville!. My husband and I decided to try Asian Wok out after the quality of our usual Chinese place started to decline. We checked out the reviews and almost everyone raved about how good it was, so we got dinner from there tonight. It was superb! We ordered the Orange Chicken, and it was easily the best I have ever eaten. The chicken was tender and the sauce was amazing without being overpowering like a lot of other places. The prices were also very fair and the workers were some of the friendliest I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. We have definitely found our new favorite dinner spot and the fact that it is only about ten minutes away from our house is a plus as well. I only wish that they offered delivery, but you can’t have it all I suppose. 🙂 I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting quality, authentic Chinese food. You will not be disappointed!
