Big dissapointment!. This place was very unorganized & overpriced. Starbucks is way better for the same price, although, I noticed downtown Asheville doesnt dig that big chain. Anyhow, my Cubana coffee was almost inedible. It tasted like it had sour milk in it. My husband however liked his Cubana that he got.
The food is good and well priced their veggie sandwich is very very yummy. HOWEVER, though the coffee was good, it was outrageously over priced. For a demitasse cup (about 3oz of coffee) it was 5.50! Though the milk is local and coffee beans are sustainably grown they aren’t made of gold. I wouldn’t go there again FOR COFFEE due to sticker shock 🙁 I would revisit and get another sammie though!
Bland. Stopped here for an appetizer and drinks while waiting for our table at another restaurant. We ordered a small plate of pork tacos and some local brews. When we were arrived on a Saturday evening during the height of dinner, we were the only customers in the restaurant. Though the brews were good the only good part of the tacos was the guacamole. The pork, though moist, was flavorless so the tacos were really bland. Add this too uncomfortable stools and benches and you have a poor experience.
We were trying to find someplace to eat downtown in our price range and everywhere was packed, we walked into Bomba and saw they had tacos and some other small items. It was really good! It was raining but I wished could have sat outside, they have a great location.
