You’re not the first to visit. This is definitely a tourist destination. That being said the atmosphere was nice and the people working there were super friendly and down to earth. The tour guide/bartender chatted with us for a while after wards and I really liked the overall feel of the place. Again, expect your going to a tourist destination! The pilot room has glass so you can watch potential creations and there’s a small souvaneir counter in the front corner. There’s a huge front area with a stage and large bar, obviously meant for large events. I would love to see what they do with it. They had all the standard highland brews, which were better at the brewery than your normal hole in the wall or grocer. We tried little hump, the new saison, made with cucumber, melon, and basil. It was a great beer. Light and refreshing. It will make a great summertime brew. Normally beers like this end up being more of a novelty, but not the case with the little hump. Right now they’re only doing 2 tours a day, but the owner is expanding the brewery and hiring more staff to be able to expand tour offerings. Troy and sons distillery is attached and seemed cool but was closed when we went.
