I like it but it’s way too expensive
I have been here several times for the lunch buffet and its consistently good. I’ve been only once for dinner, it was waaaaay expensive. Still yummy though. But I might stick to lunch.
We Like It a Lot. Good food. Been eating there for years. We eat from the buffet…..vegetarian. It is much more quiet than its competitor downtown.
I love eating at India garden . I had lamb kolhapuri and garlic nan which make perfect combination of indian food . Don’t forget to order mango smoothie made with yogurt .Restaurant nice and clean . Let me start by saying that I really don’t care for Indian food. I usually only go to Indian restaurants because my wife loves it. With that said, I REALLY liked the shahi paneer from India Garden. Mixed with the rice and salad that comes with the order, it was excellent. The price was $13, which is about what you’d expect. However, the bonus was that they gave me so much shahi paneer that I had a full lunch of it the following day (and I gorged on it for dinner). My wife said it was the best shahi paneer she’s had in Asheville, and she’s tried all of the other Indian restaurants. I got my food to go, so I can’t say much about the service. But I am actually looking forward to eating there again.
Lunch buffet has good food for a fair price
Not so good. I was totally disappointed today. I went there seeking a better alternative to Mea in downtown Asheville. I was escorted to a table, then ignored. I asked one of waiters for a menu. Did he give me the dinner menu?? Is that why the prices were so high?? Then I discovered they had a buffet!!!–never suggested by the wait person that received me. I decided on the buffet, though I really wanted to order from the menu. The buffet there sucked!!!! more than Mela. The price for the Buffet too high!.. I won’t return. Shame!!!
