Drove past several times and decided to give it a try this week for lunch. I didn’t go in expecting a lot and wasn’t disappointed. It is a diner of course and the food was of relative quality. I cant say anything bad about it. But it wasn’t spectacular. I had the Gyro platter (lamb) the meat was well seasoned and typical of what I had elsewhere. The salad that came with it was good but again nothing that I was overwhelmed about. The ladies that waited on me were nice and certainly seemed to know most everyone that came in to some degree.I would go back for another meal but if your looking for something that is just a foodie knockout this isn’t for you.

The best restaurant in WNC. Kosta’s kitchen is one of the best places to eat. They did not get voted number 1 for no reason
Awful-Frozen-Cold. I gave it another chance but it was just as bad as the first time. Never again. The food was luke-warm, tasted like it came right out of the freezer section at walmart. The lettuce in the salad was old and the dressing seemed watered down and was very runny. The vinyl table cloths are old and sticky feeling. Just an all-around bad experience. Even for a greasy spoon.

Just not good.03 Jun, 2012It’s not Greek by any means, the only Greek things on the menu were 2 gyro items and a Greek salad. It’s diner food, but not great diner food. Seems like most things came out of a can. Wouldn’t go back here
Great Food. I like breakfast here the best. I have had lunch and it is fine also but the breakfast! Big servings and hot coffee that just keeps coming before the cup is half empty! I love the new Fletcher location
Kosta’s. They have been here for many years, they moved to Fletcher just a few months back as we in the area are so happy. The food is very good, the breakfast is wonderful. Sometimes on the weekend it’s a waite but worth it. The home fries are just as they say Home Fries. Cooked to perfection with onions Um Um!
