This place has wonderful service and great food. Almost everything on the menu is made in house, right down to all the sauces and dressings. The deserts are from a local bakery and they’re to die for. It’s also owned by a local family who works in their two locations. All the servers are sweet girls too, definitely worth going.

Great NY style pizza. Pizza (plain or Margherita) was exactly what it was supposed to be… Great crust, crushed tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil.

Still Good Pizza. Marcos still has some great pizza and other items, like the salads are tasty and uniquely executed, but honestly something is missing that used to be present in years past. I think they may have changed their sauce recipe, and if so they really should change back. As I said, still good, but a little diminished.

Just OK. We tried the garlic bread (pretty tasty!) and a sausage pizza (not so great!) via carry-out. We live 12 minutes away and by the time we got home, the pizza was completely cold. We picked it up as soon at the time they told us it would be ready, so I’m not sure if they maybe don’t keep it warm while it’s awaiting pick-up or what. Point being, I’m not sure if perhaps the pizza would have tasted better if we had dined in but I’d only give it a 6 out of 10 as it was when we brought it home. The dough tasted excellent in the outer parts of the pizza. The problem was mainly the cheese and the sauce. The cheese was an odd, rubbery texture. It was not at all flavorful. The sauce was very watery. As a result, the crust of the pizza was very soggy in the entire middle of the pizza. There was also WAY too much salt used on the pizza and garlic bread. So, I’m still in search of some good pizza here in Asheville.

Great NY Style Pizza. Awesome pizza at an awesome price. Small pizza and an order of breadsticks is an ample meal for two people at a really good price.

Service is NOT their specialty! Our table was not wiped and I watched other tables cleared without wiping them. The pizza was nothing special. New York style but the crust was too thin and aside was flavorless . Much of the crust had so little sauce it was non existent.

Pizza was way too salty. Not just a little salty, but WAY TOO SALTY! I could barely eat it.I eat there twice, both times at birthday lunches. I will not eat there again!
