Mela is one of our staples. Every visit to Asheville includes at least one visit to Mela. Everything, and I reiterate, EVERYTHING is packed full of deliciousness. However, the best thing is the quality of the chicken chunks in the Chicken Tikka Masala. Wow! Good beer selection also!!
The most famous Indian restaurant in this beautiful town of Asheville. Being an Indian myself, and visiting from Mumbai, India on a cold winter day this January, I was awestruck with the kind of Indian food served. We took the buffet for quite a bug group of family and friends. The staff was corteous in arranging the tables and chairs to wait for some time for everyone to come. What a stunning food. Beats most of the Indian restaurants even in India. Great quality, great spread of food and some delicious Indian sweets to end this nostalgic experience. Thank you for the great service and food.
