    Great food & great service!

Mediocre but fine for dinner. We came here because it was too cold to wander the streets of downtown waiting for a restaurant and this place took reservations. Food was fine but nothing special. It probably would have been much better if our server josh did not clearly want to be at work. He was not unkind but definitely gave the impression that he wanted to be anywhere but here. That put a little damper on the meal.

We went there for dinner and had 1 of their greek pizzas. it was tasty and delicious. the service was speedy and pleasant. The crust was thin and tasty. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. Prices were just above average. About right for the quality you get

Up and Down. I’ve been to Pomodoro’s in S. Asheville a handful of times now and it’s just hit or miss when it comes to quality. It’s a great environment, but the food just misses the mark sometimes. I had the Chicken Marsala for the second time because it was good the first time… well unfortunately this time the sauce was watery. Same thing happened with the other people I ate with. Maybe I’ve just been on their off nights, but after a while, too many off nights will lead me to taking them off my list of places to eat. Hate to say it, but with Travinia down the road (better prices, food) it will be hard to get me back to Pomodoros.

Very inconsistent …. Product does not seem very fresh, for a city that loves to support local I find it hard to swallow that product is not… Very dissapointed!! With an array of fabulous eateries in such close proximity, it’s worth the extra drive to get the better dish.

Local Go To. My mother and I always enjoy dining at Pomodoros and it hardly ever dissapoints. If there is any error in food preparation or service, the managment always makes things right. We also love their birthday club where you recieve a coupon in the mail for one free entree during the month of your birthday! I love the Salmon rissoto and spinach. As well as the Filet Rico and Roasted Beet Salad with shrimp.

We wanted something ethnic and happened on Pompodoros. I had Greek; my wife Italian. Fantastic and rich flavored. Good portions. Some of the best Greek food I have had; well worth the price. Good service too
