Ate here Su -had Pulled Pork & Pimento Cheese sandwich. The pork was very moist, flavorful and tender. The bun was very good. I could not taste pimento cheese, but otherwise the sandwich was very good. I will be back to try other things and do recommend for at least a first visit. 3.4 stars.
Awesome! Had the pleasure of eating at Root Down last night at the Pisgah Brewing Company final outdoor concert of the season. BEST mac and cheese bechamel I’ve ever had. Seriously good. Also tried the pimento cheese and pulled pork sandwich. Amazingly good. Would eat here a hundred more times. What all food truck food should aspire to be.
Awesome Food Truck. Root Down Food Truck just catered our party on Lake Norman and it was amazing!! We had pulled pork po boys, red beans and rice, veggie sandwiches and collard green salad. They used local pork from Grateful Growers and it is incredible. All of our guests LOVED the food! And they were a pleasure to work with. Can’t wait to use them again!!!
