Newcomers Beware. The big name on the building – Papas & Beer – is a bit deceiving since it apparently is a different Mexican restaurant now but they have yet to update their name on the building. Unfortunately, being new to the area we picked this location for dinner thinking it was Papas & Beer and were sorely disappointed in our selection. I briefly looked at the menu knowing what I wanted to get based on our last experience at Papas & Beer. I was more than surprised to find my chicken chimichanga stuffed with peppers and onions (the chicken in it was seriously lacking). It was at that point I looked around perplexed at how different the dish could be and realized the staff was wearing shirts with Salsa & Beer. The staff and atmosphere were okay – but didn’t win me over.
Horrible food & Service. Even though they still have the papas and beer sign, they say they are salsas and beer and the menu is not the same, they are not accommodating about amending orders and really try to rush you out!!!!!!
