The service was decent, but our steaks were tough and full of fat. It was also so hot in the restaurant that sweat was dripping down my back. I have never been that warm at dinner. It was all I could do to finish. I ran straight to Marble Slab afterward to cool down. So, in short, the service was OK, not fantastic, the food was sub par and expensive. Very disappointing, since I have enjoyed this restaurant many many times in the past. It seems like it gets a little worse each time. I suppose it’s time to find a new restaurant for dinner in Asheville.
