This is a very romantic type setting and yet casual at the same time. Dimly lit, which I like. Bar area, anazing. WE just ate there. First time we went they had live music. Great music. I believe it was blue grass. Very fitting for the mountains. Food was amazing. Staff was amazing. Fresh oysters there, everyday. They were so dang delicious. The other food we had was, as well. Their lobster maccaroni, SCORE! One of my very FAVORITE restaurants in Asheville. Will not disappoint You. plus, they have hanging art pictures that are for sale…. paintings is what I saw all the times I have been. NO shabby art either. Beautiful art.GO ON, ENJOY YOURSELVES. : )
Best place south of Portland to get a lobster roll. Low key, good service and lobster is on point. We make an effort to stop by any time we are in town. Enjoy!
Prices have hiked, so did we.. My friends and I loved this place, but the prices have skyrocketed! The atmosphere is great and the service is good. We were here two years ago and the prices were reasonable and the food and microbrew was great, but the prices have inflated to the point that I wonder if there was some natural disaster we missed that would affect seafood prices. Such a shame.
Love this place!! It’s worth a little drive. We tried the Lobster Trap for the first time about 3 weeks ago and we were so impressed that we drove 1.5 hours the following weekend to eat here again. The food, the service, the atmosphere, it’s all perfect. My wife and I went over with friends and the 4 of us have declared this as our favorite restaurant in Asheville. We had raw oysters, pasta with crab, shrimp and grits, gumbo with catfish ( my personal favorite ) and crab legs. The next time we go over, we’re going to order the triple seafood tower………….can’t wait!
Mrs.. Best seafood restaurant in Asheville.Food is wonderful!Service and friendliness is excellent.
Maggie was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. we came in for an app and a beer and ended up with the crab legs for app and the double tower AND the main lobster entree. Maggie was there every step of the way breaking down our lobster and keeping the beer flowing. These locals will definitely be back soon.. thanks MAGGIE
Nice place, nice changes. Good food. Good service. Nice new update. We will be back for more!
