Delicious, great service, inexpensive. Wonderful food, great service, amazingly inexpensive for this location. If you need some authentic Asian flavors and love noodles, this place is for you!

Not Worth It. I have frequented the noodle shop since I work downtown, but it has been a few months and so today I convinced a coworker to try out the Crispy Chicken w/ white rice. She paid 10.50 (tipped 1.50 on a pickup order) and what she opened in her office was a few pieces of chicken with barely a scoop of rice. She said she will never go back.I on the other hand ordered what I always get , the Spring Noodle soup with tofu. This time I subbed the Tofu for extra veggies. What I received had one slice of carrot, on half slice of yellow squash and 3 half slices of zucchini. I called about my disapproval and was told I have a credit for a free soup now. I dont know If I should bother redeeming it. It seems from my experience, my coworkers, and the latest posts that this establishment has changed in a bad way. Please note that they were not flooded with customers, because I could understand going to fast and not portioning correctly, but the place was dead.

Good Experience. I enjoyed this restaurant with my daughters recently. I didn’t feel like it was the best noodle bowl I would have in my entire life, but the food was good, the portions were reasonable, the waiter was very attentive, and the location is perfect. It’s a quaint little noodle shop with good food.

The spring rolls were great, but my girlfriend and I ordered the chicken and shrimp noodle plate and it was inedible! The sauce was tasteless mush and the chicken was absolutely disgusting.Doc Cheys is way better AND cheaper!!

My husband and I are from Florida, and whenever we come to Asheville we always go to The Noodle Shop. They never disappoint us. Great food and greater service. Can’t wait until our next visit.

Where are these other people eating at. Staff was pleasant enough and very attentive, since not to busy. When the actual meals arrived in less time than it took to get a seat that should’ve been a sign. It literally took 3 minutes from time we ordered until it was on the table. The Curry Chicken tasted like a Banquet Frozen Meal. Which if it had been actually warm I would’ve accused them of just nuking it, instead it tasted as if one big dish was made in the morning, and then kept warm and scooped out anytime someone ordered it. The Curry is obviously a powder packet, and never had any taste of Curry. Even while we were having our meal another customer was complaining to a server about the Brown Rice being crunchy. I’ve read reviews praising this place, albeit nothing newer than 2012, so did this place change owners, or just stopped caring?
