This is ice cream? Great disappointment!. I’m bewildered with the positive reviews. This was my first visit and as a self-professed ice cream fanatic I was excited to try it and ordered two flavors. The peanut butter chocolate flake was light on flavor and high on ice crystals. No creaminess, but more like ice milk. I also tried the pumpkin because I love pumpkin ice cream, however, this was quite possibly the WORST so-called ice cream I have ever had. Lack of creaminess, no milk fat – tasted like a snowball peppered with pumpkin spice. I took two bites and for the first time in my life, threw ice cream away! Terrible!
Good Home-made Unusual flavors. Visited the Ultimate Ice Cream company on my recent vacation to Asheville, tucked away in a small plaza is a tiny ice cream shop. Many unique flavors including, a goat cheese, fresh ginger & cinnamon hazelnut. Enjoyable.
Meh. I wish they would offer more vegan ice cream options. I’m not a fan of sorbet and with all of the vegans in Asheville you would think they could appease our creamy cravings too :).
