Good burgers, good beer, easy walk from my son’s home in West Asheville. I had the Firecracker and my wife had the Steinbeck. Both were quite tasty. However, my wife was VERY disappointed that they did not have the Blackened Shrimp Tacos that she had at the Greenville UJ. That is what we had walked there for.
Never again.. I’m an Asheville local and ate here for the first time after years of seeing it popping every other night. With that said, I’m not too sure why people come here; it must be regulars who frequent and get so drunk they can’t taste the food. No I’m serious. The patrons were overboard drunk and literally screaming at the top of their lungs and smoking in the open patio to the inside!!! Service was terrible. Im currently waiting for my bill after being finished for 15 minutes. I havent been checked on nor gotten a refill. No tip and no way I’m coming back. But I didnt get mad. Asheville has way better and way cheaper places to go!
BURGER BURGER. May tag Blue Cheese burger was outstanding. Purfect MR which I don’t find often. Loaded with melty crumbled Blue and crisp bacon. Tots were excellent. Crisp and lava hot. Served by Lacey and she was extremely knowledgeable and made great suggestions for us as first timers. Cheesy bacon fries app was great as well. Will be on my best burger list for Ashvegas from now on.

What happened to the bartender?. Ive been coming here for years. Foods always good, and you could always count on a great attentive bartender… not sure his name, but unfortunately he’s no longer there. They apparently didnt have a deep bench to choose for a replacement. The bearded dude is obviously over his head. Doesn’t even get the basics… such a bummer.
Would like to go back…… If they find a chef who know how to cook. Otherwise it’s a great place to have a beer. The food is terrible.
It was awful.. I went to UJ and it was so nasty that I spit it out in the trASH. i WOULD NEVER GO AGAIN.
