I really like Vortex donuts, sure they are a little pricey and the service is never friendly but they make a good donut. Today I had the white chocolate, peppermint filled and it was delicious. Also had the blood orange and it was really good, I like it the better than the other one. Always interesting flavors here.The reason I only gave 4 out of 5 is the service is rarely friendly. They always seem to have that stuffy Asheville attitude. They need to learn how to greet customers with a smile and be helpful. After all without paying customers they would not have a job so they need to realize who the priority is. forkinggoodeats.com
