Walked in after walking around eyeing places to eat. Looked reasonable and was really craving sushi. Ordered a sake, two rolls, a ramen, and teriyaki. The rolls were underwhelming, but good… could’ve easily been the boring ones I chose (wild mushroom and spicy salmon)… but the service was great and the value was pretty good considering the amount of food we were served.Would definitely try it again!
Recommend by the hotel staff. Spot on. I’m not a Sushi specialist but I’m trying. Asked where could get good but not overpriced Sushi. Sent me here. Downtown so had to pay to park (FYI)To start I asked about Coconut Scallops but was steered towards the Tuna Dumpling by the staff. Glad I did. Tuna wrapped around some minced scallops that were done with some Tempura. Look at the photo posted. Really nice presentation but also very tasty. Those lil onion like pieces were great!Later on in the evening still looking over the menu so asked again and had picked out the Rainbow Roll. She said was good so ordered it. Again very good. In and out for $27.00 not including a tip.Would give this a try if your looking for something that taste and feels genuine.
We just happened to walk by this place with some friends and decided to give it a try. Best decision ever, we eat here every time we’re in town. You will not be disappointed.
Always a great atmosphere and service. Food is consistently delicious! Would easily recommend this restaurant! Blue Ridge roll is an excellent choice.
Can honestly say that we have ALWAYS loved Wasabi but last night… Everything was beautifully presented but TASTELESS. Have now been to Zen Sushi which, while lacking in atmosphere, is so much better!
Pleasant Time. Had Ramen with Salmon. It was warm comfort in a big bowl. Loved the bok choy flavor in that broth. Salmon was seared, cooked right & large portions. Seaweed salad & crab was terrific, & Tamago nigiri. My wife ordered sushi, she ate almost all of it & I can say that sushi comes out with much care & art. Waitress was kind & friendly. I would return to this place in a heartbeat. Only gripe: lack of Sri Racha. (disclaimer: I’m not one of those who coat everything in it & it doesn’t have to be on every table. But traditional or not, I love adding on some heat)
Wasabi. Great service! I came here for my 21st birthday and ordered a wine and sushi off of the sushi bar. I ordered the Spicy Girl Roll on special and it was delicious. My server was nice and she even brought out a birthday dessert after our meal.
