Fudge, Fudge and more fudge. What could be better than to go in a storeand the first thing they say is free fudge sample.we got the butter pecan and chocolate raspberry.both good but the real winner is the chocolateorange peel. yummy!!!
Great place for ice cream. We’ve been to Blowing Rock a number of times. The Kilwin’s is directly across the street from the picturesque city park. Downtown Blowing Rock is like Mayberry, RFD come to life. Anybody can check out sports equipment (basketballs, horse shoes, tennis rackets) at the kiosk in the park even if you’re just a visitor. There’s no better place to get ice cream or fudge than at this Kilwin’s. Then you can take your treat across the street and eat it in the park while you watch the children play. A little slice of heaven.
Overated. This place is expensive and overrated. The fudge is good as well as the candy apples, but most of the other treats are either too sweet to eat or taste stale.
Best ice cream anywhere. Worth the price which isn’t cheap.
My first experience with Kilwins was their fudge.. That my daughter’s boyfriend brought to us. I just thought that I had eatting great fudge until then.. We had been alot of places and tried all kinds of fudge from Atlanta, Gainesville, Dahlonega,Ellijay, ect. But their blew the others away.. My favorite is the turtle….
