The Six Pence Pub has never failed to provide excellent food and a reasonable cost. I love the salmon BLT and plan on returning soon. The waiters/waitresses are very kind and the restaurant overall gives off a good vibe.

After discussing starters with our server, we decided on thespicy potato fritters: hash brown potatoes, cheese and jalapenos. Thesefritters were perfectly browned on the outside and creamy and soft on theinside, and the light touch of jalapenos added just the right amount of kick.Even our five-year-old grandson liked them!I ordered the Shepherds Pie, sometimes called Cottage Pie. Layeredwith ground beef, peas, carrots, onions in a brown sauce with mashed potatoesand cheddar cheese, this dish was great, juicy, full of favors, and just theright balance of vegies and beef. The brown sauce brought it all together. Dora here. I opted for the Bangers & Mash, Cumberlandsausages with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The portions were generous andmore than enough to share with our grandson. The only thing left on my platewas the asparagus. :)We rate this restaurant 5 forks out of 5 for a familyfriendly restaurant serving outstanding food. Awesome pub atmosphere. Perfect food and drink service for our late night visit. Wife got the s’moresadult hot chocolate and it was delicious. Sort of on the pricey side, but not too bad for the quality. Would recommend and will definitely return on future snowboard trips.

Limited menu, but consistently good!. Nice vibe to this place. Cozy, street side terrace seating. Take out orders are always on point! We ordered seven plates on the 4th of July in a Harry Met Sally kind of way (add this, none of that) and it was perfect. Friendly staff. Good wings, salad, smoked salmon, stuffed portabella mushroom, fries, burgers… Consistent. 🙂
