The owner was rude to my 83 year old Aunt because she was asking about splitting a sub with her son. He should be ashamed of himself! There was no one else at the restaurant and now we know why!

Pedestrian food. Not Italian , but many menu items keep uninformed dinners Guessing it must be ok. Too much oil and butter along with excessive salt add to nothing. A cook who continually surveys the dinning room raises a few questions.too much cheap white wine in sauces not cooked out. Parking was ample.

Excellent food, service. The portion sizes are great, not too much that you need a box but not too little that you feel they skimped. You can tell they made everything in-house, and the server’s attention to detail is great. My husband did not want tomatoes in his entree, and the waitress left them out of his salad without him asking. The tiramisu was also fabulous. We will definitely be back. It’s nice to find a great, non-chain restaurant in Burlington.

Authentic Italian. Being originally from NY and still traveling all over the US I have to tell you that this is probably the most authentic Italian I’ve found in central, NC. It is family owned and operated. Father and son do the cooking while Mama runs the front end of the house. If you miss real Italian bread you’re in for a treat. Maria bakes her own daily. The shrimp scampi is out of this world as is all of the seafood. The only thing missing from the menu is an antipasto salad but if you ask I’m sure they’ll make it for you.

Don’t like it…LOVE it. This place makes me feel like I have Italian grandparents feeding me. The food is delicious, (especially the oil for dipping bread…those spices are perfect!) and the service is great. I love seeing Maria welcoming people at the door and her husband coming out from the kitchen to rest and see how everyone is doing.

Your Italian neighborhood restaurant. Tastefully decorated, friendly staff and great Italian food-like Momma used to make! Everything is fresh. The Marinara sauce is one of the best I have had especially good when eaten with Maria’s (the chefs wife) homemade pasta! And try her freshly filled cannoli’s for dessert. The house wine is imported from their cousin’s own vineyards in Italy. Not pretentious, always good and a great value….
